Thrown into a well by his jealous brothers, sold into slavery in Egypt, falsely imprisoned for years, and ultimately rose to become the minister of Egypt. His is the most detailed story in the Quran (Surah Yusuf).
Tested with severe illness that lasted years, loss of wealth, and loss of family. Through it all, he remained patient and never complained to anyone but Allah. Allah restored everything and more.
Sent to the people of Madyan who cheated in trade and commerce. Called them to honest business dealings, fair weights and measures, and to worship Allah alone. His people rejected him and were destroyed.
